Shaded terrace with a parasol and chairs at Paraschos Studios

Three decades of the same idea

A family-run place in Kardamena, Kos — started in the early 90s, still run by the same family today.

Our story

It began with Paraschos and Kontessa

In the early 90s they set out to build a quiet, warm place for visitors to Kardamena — somewhere guests could experience Greek hospitality rather than just book a room.

Their younger daughter Connie and her husband Manolis later took over, adding modern comfort without losing what the place was for. The studios have been refurbished since, but they still follow the founders' original idea: a self-contained, comfortable base with a private balcony over the pool and garden.

Today Connie and Manolis run it themselves, on site. Most of what guests write about afterwards is them.

How it got here

Two generations

Early 1990s

Paraschos & Kontessa

They lay the foundations — a serene escape in a picturesque town, built around the idea that guests should feel looked after rather than processed.

Today

Connie & Manolis

Their younger daughter and her husband took the reins, refurbished the studios and kept the ethos: quiet living, a step away from the life of Kardamena.
